Refurbishment, Extension and Loft Conversion

THE CHALLENGE

To build a new light-filled rear extension, loft conversion and contemporary living space while dealing with all the supply and manufacturing delays caused by Covid-19.

The client’s interior designer based in Cape Town, South Africa was unable to travel to London as a result of the pandemic, so many of the decisions on-site had to be made using video calls which worked very well.

Maintaining good communication was key throughout the 12-month project and it was wall to wall smiles when the family were able to move back into their transformed house just before Christmas.

The project really delivered on the brief and a second phase of landscaping works to the front of the property is planned for the Autumn 2022.
